Returns and refunds
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
Change your mind? We'll gladly refund most products within 21 days of your original purchase date that are:
- brand new and unused;
- in their original unopened packaging; and
- in the same condition that you received it.
Unfortunately, batteries are exempt from this policy and cannot be returned for a change of mind refund.
Before returning your product for a change of mind return, you must obtain a return authorisation from us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or contacting us on Facebook Messenger.
If your return is authorised, on receipt of the returned goods you will be refunded either your original purchase price or, if our advertised price has since been reduced, the current price - whichever is lower at the time authorisation is provided.
Shipping costs are non-refundable and you are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us as advised.
Change of mind refunds after 21 days may be authorised in consideration of any extenuating circumstances, however a 25% restocking fee will apply.
To ensure the integrity of the products we sell, we will test bind, arm and hover each RTF and BNF drone you purchase along with its camera and video transmitter before packaging for shipping.
We will also test each charger and set of goggles we sell prior to packaging and shipping.
However, drones crash and although the lifespan of brushed motors vary, by nature they have a generally limited lifespan.
Due to the intended use of our products, the nature of those goods and their components and the DIY nature of this hobby, each warranty claim will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis but, generally, we will only replace or refund defective items that are Dead On Arrival (DOA) or damaged in transit.
To make a DOA or shipping damaged claim:
- Email email@example.com and subject the email returns, or contact us through Facebook Messenger to seek a return authorisation within 2 days of receiving your item.
- Once you receive a return authorisation from us, return your item to us as directed.
- Once we receive your returned product, please allow up to 7 days for us to inspect and test the item.
- Should we determine that the item is eligible for an exchange or refund under this policy, we will refund your return shipping costs and apply your exchange credit or refund within 24 hours of that determination.
- Should we determine that your item is not eligible for an exchange or refund under this policy, you will be solely responsible for the cost of returning the item to you.
Please do not return any products until you have received a return authorisation from us.
These policies do not affect your statutory rights in any way.
